Phonics K-1:

A fun class for Kindergarten and 1st grades students to get a grasp of phonics!  We help children learn to clearly identify sounds and blends and help them to read out loud with ease.  Kids will also gain basic reading comprehension and word attack skills that will last them into their high school years.  Motivating games and visuals will capture children’s attention and make for lasting learning.

Computer Technology K-3:

This class gives students hands-on instruction on setting up their laptops for use, keyboarding and mouse basics, and application and navigation skills in the Microsoft Office and Google documents accounts they will inevitably use for school projects.  Kids will get a chance to have fun with computer paint products.  We'll instruct them in web safety, helping them to find both educational and fun web sites that are safe.

We ask that every student bring a laptop to class, either their own or a family computer.  By bringing personal ones in rather than using one of the student computers that we have in the room, students can gain the utmost comfort with their machines, implement Internet safety tools we discuss in class, and also bookmark sites we will explore in class for at-home fun.

Math for 2-3:

Here, we provide practical instruction to help 2nd and 3rd grade children master multiplication, multiple-digit addition and subtraction, word problems, number sense building, and more.  Interactive games and quizzes will motivate young ones to excel in Math.

U.S. History for Grades 4-5:
